So, while at a roller derby today, I realized just how easily it could be done with cars. I mean it's so perfectly adaptable that I just know there's a dirt track out there that does this.
For those who don't know, it's (basically) two teams with one "jammer" on each. Those people start behind the others and have to fight through the pack, then once they circle back around, they receive points for every member of the opposing team that they pass. The other players just try to prevent the opposing jammer from breaking through the pack, while also clearing the way for their own. This goes on either until time runs out, or until the jammer who got through first at the beginning signals it to end. Then they line back up and do it again.
Perfect for dirt-track beaters, and also perfect as a multiplayer mode for games like Forza. So perfect that there's no way I'm the first to think of it, so please tell me it exists somewhere.

I think this should be a fork off of "bangers".

TNN televised on once back in the late 90's, early 00's as part of their Monster Jam show. It was pretty fun to watch but I never saw one again. The Jammer car was a small Honda or Toyota, the rest of the cars were land yachts from Detroit.
